The Kiwanis Club of East Lansing is working on a “Signature Project” of fundraising for Book Vending Machines in our East Lansing Elementary and Middle schools.
A Book Vending Machine is a great way to introduce students to the world of books. The goal is to increase literacy by creating a rewarding experience. Students get excited for a trip to the vending machine to choose a “take home to keep” book of their choice! Book vending machines become hubs of literary exploration, igniting a passion for reading that transcends the classroom.
